Mandeville Street – The birthplace of BlockWorks
The story behind BlockWorks reflects a two-year journey of caring for and maintaining a neighborhood in downtown Utica and seeing how deeply that work resonated with neighbors and the surrounding community. Along the way, it also revealed just how many people and organizations genuinely LOVE public maintenance, volunteer cleanups, beautification efforts, and community-driven programming of their own.
We are finding each other, building relationships, and continuing conversations about future collaborations that can positively impact our city together.
